I'm way behind the times on adopting reuseable grocery bags. I think it's a good practice and it's something I want to do for the environment and $$ (since stores can't give bags away in my state) but I haven't been able to get my act together and almost always show up at the store empty handed.
Now that LO2 isn't a baby any more I feel like I have to get my act together. I do several small shopping trips during the week. Often unplanned when I find myself with a few moments without the kids (lunch break, after bedtime, before daycare pick up).
What's your strategy? I'm having trouble at each step in the process: storing the bags, getting them to the car I'm driving, getting them in the store, having the right number with me.
