i wear dailys because my eyes get dry too.
that plus i don't wear my glasses/contacts regularly (only when driving or spending a whole day out - which isnt often) so the dailys work perfectly for my needs.

Gas permeable - they hurt but I can't wear other kinds.

@VEGMAMA: Definitely try the Acuvue Oasys. They worked really well with my dry eyes.

I bought dailies, even though i loved my Acuvue Oasys. It was to prevent me from wearing my bi-weeklys for too long.

I used to use Pure Vision. My eyes got really dry too so I could never wear them often. I had LASIK done last summer and it was the best thing ever!

Accuvue oasys. They do a great job of not drying out, so they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time or even sleep in... However, they are flimsy and I find them hard to put in/take out and they're much more prone to tearing... so I sort of hate them. I actually prefer my old contacts, Accuvue 2, as I didn't really have a problem with them drying out before (though I couldn't sleep in those).
