Since we've started solids, its diaper sprayer time! Would you recommend your sprayer? What kind is it?

We actually haven't been using a sprayer. Just liners, and the poo goes in the toilet. I've had to dunk diapers twice (because DH forgot to put liners in when we first started using them)

We have the BG one but I rarely use it. I find dripping and swishing in the toilet to be more effective and less messy. I just use kitchen gloves and wash everything when I'm done.
ETA: We use liners too, but they don't always work.

Following because not sure what we will do when we get to this point - sprayer, liners, just scrape into toilet?

We have the BG one and it sprays a crazy stream but we aren't on solids yet so no idea how functional it is.

We have a fuzzibunz one. It works great. I haven't tried any others though so I can't compare.

@jetsa: It's sooo crazy!! The first time i didn't know how to use it properly was a disgusting disaaaaster (as you can probably imagine). You gotta be a lot more careful once they're on solids but it's not as bad if they have more solid poops because it just peels off into the toilet.
We have the BG one.

@blackbird: What kind of liners do you use? I've considered that too, and it sounds far more appealing.

We used Bumkins for a little bit...they come in a box. the problem i have is that when you pull them out, they lose their pleat, so you have to re-fold them. And when you have one hand on the baby and the other with the liner, it just pissed me off.
The second one we tried are the Bummis and they come on a roll, like paper towels. You just pull one off and fold it in half and that's that. So far, DH and I definitely prefer this one. I like that they're flushable b/c when there's a lot of poop, i like to put it in the toilet.
Yeah sometimes the poop goes around the liner but i just spray with bac-out and wash it just the same. Haven't noticed any stains or issues with our washer. It does catch most of it. I wouldn't mind a little swishing, but honestly, putting my hand in the toilet is just nasty and i only hope to do it once in a very blue moon.

We use liners, too. We started with the Bummis but now we use GroVia. The GroVia are a little wider so sometimes they kind of stick out the sides of the diaper, but then we never have a problem of the poop missing the liner. I was concerned about having it stick out because I worried that pee would soak out and get on his clothing, but so far we haven't had that issue at all. We LOVE the liners. Everything just plops right into the toilet.
