@LovelyPlum: sort of! A welsh is kind of a mini Airedale, but it is it's own seperate breed, it wasn't bred as a miniature or anything. They look identical! He's about half the size of an Airedale

@jetsettermomma: Oh my gosh how adorable! Hopefully she doesn't have the beagle bay (luckily ours doesn't unless she's REALLY upset about something).

@NorCalWayfarer: Ours is a surprisingly quiet beagle. She does have the infamous beagle bay but luckily she hardly barks or howls. She does "squeak" a lot though Don't you secretly love the beagle bay though (maybe because she rarely does it)?

Charlie is a pekepoo-pom. His mom was a pomeranian & his dad was a pekepoo (pekingese/poodle). He thinks he's a human.

@sslm: Gotcha! That's why I was confused. I couldn't tell how big he was, and I just knew he looks like our friend's Airedale. Still love

@Mrs. Chocolate: My sister raises Cavaliers They are very sweet but too small for my taste! Lovely dogs.

@Mrs. Jacks: ooh would I know her name? I use to be big in the showing world (as in I was a groupie lol as I never had a show dog myself as I never felt ready) And to me they are perfect sized and just so sweet. Id only own them forever but my husband wants a bigger dog too at some point

@Mrs. Chocolate: Ooh cool. I doubt it. She is relatively small in the cavalier world, but she does show and breed on a very limited basis. I think she and you would probably know some of the same people

@Mrs. Jacks: Neat! Its a small world at times, dog showing. I love my 2 so much I cant imagine life without them and I think I will always want/have a Cavalier in my life. I want to show for real one day but that might be many years to come when the kids are gone or older at least

We have a 7 month old Chocolate lab/blue heeler mix. Who also thinks he's a lap dog

@Mrs. Chocolate: I used to show my Berners but there is obviously no time for that these days! (And besides, this big guy was a little jerk in the ring!)
blogger / nectarine / 2600 posts
@Mrs. Jacks: Yeah I agree no time for anything somedays let alone taking care of a show dog lol! As one of my friends on the circuit said though the dogs will always be there, kids wont so I know its fine if I wait, even years or decades since dogs will always be around to show but my kids and their childhoods wont.

@oliviaoblivia: I'm DYING to get an Aussie someday! I love them!

We have a medium sized "brown dog". I rescued him from the animal shelter 7 years ago & asked the vet what kind she thought he was. Her response: "a brown dog". He may have some lab, pitt & other kinds mixed in. He is my baby!
@mrsbrewer our dog also believes he is a lap dog! Lol

Aw, these pups are all so cute! I want a dog so badly! DH is a total cat person, but has promised me I can get a dog *someday* (maybe when we don't have 3 cats and aren't in an apartment).

@jhd: Haha, my mom has a dog that we've nicknamed "brown dog". She's some sort of rott mix mutt.
I have a border collie/lab mix. I'm ridiculously in love with him.
Mine's on the far left, my mom's dog is in the middle. They're best friends!

We have a shih-tzu/pomeranian but he lives with my family in Georgia. I miss him! I can't wait to move back to the states so we can get him back.
