At "home" (my parents) we have 2 English Cocker Spaniels. Franklin and Roxie.

@jhd: I love mutts and playing the guess the breed game. My vet just told me about a product you can get at most pet stores to do a cheek swab DNA test to find out what breeds your dog is. It sounds so cool but I didn't look into price yet but I might try it for our mutt. It would be fun to see the report.

We have two rescue breeds. Best guesses are that the female is a Lab/Great Pyrenees and the male is a Great Dane/Newfoundland/who knows what else.

We have 2 Lhasapoos. They are brother and sister, from the same liter.
Our female is definitely more small poodle (9 lbs) and her brother is more Lhasa Apso (22 lbs).

I asked my husband if we could test our mutt's DNA for my birthday and he just laughed at me. He called me a nerd! Oh well I am so I guess there's no hiding it. I looked at the sample reports and they look pretty cool.

We have a Rhodesian Ridgeback and she's awesome. Will be interesting to see what happens when her little brother arrives. At least we know from nephews and nieces that she loves kids!

Our 4 year old shih tzu/pekingnese rescue Casey.
He's my baby. I love him so much! We thought about getting other dogs but he's had so many health problems we said he was enough!
He was neglected as a pup. My grandma took him out of that home and cleaned him up and we took him in. He's a sweetie and keeps to himself..can't imagine why anyone would purposely hurt him. But he's happy and healthy now!
He also loves kids and babies so I'm interested to see how he reacts when tater tot arrives. I'm also due on his birthday!
