We have 2 Shih tzus Ellie and Bridget

We just have one kitty for now, we are gunna wait til we get a bigger house with a better yard to get a dog.

@cyndistar3: I thought you had a puppy?! (Am I going crazy?)

We just have 1 cat now who is 3 years old. We'll get a smaller sized dog once we move from condo to house.

I have a cream pomeranian (pictured in profile pic!)
I left him in CA with my family though.

I have 2 kittens, Shorty and Lola. Shorty is 2.5 months, and Lola is 3 months

@artbee: At home there are 4 people who shower him with love and he'd seldom be home alone since my sister's schedule is pretty awesome. Here, it's just me and DH and we both work(ed). Also, there was no one here I could trust to leave my dog with when we went away. It was a hard decision but I wanted to do the best for bentley (my dog!). He's super needy, so it would have been miserable for him to be here with my LO the first few months.

@chopsuey119: it is hard to give dogs the attention they need when you have a baby. Luckily my parents came over all the time to walk him when my lo was a newborn, so he never lacked _for attention.

We have a 1/2 siamese cat named Oliver!

We have a black lab puppy. She's 6 months old and very hyper!

We have two dogs and that's enough... for now. We are both animal lovers, so I can see us getting other pets for our kids (a bunny on Easter would be so cute, right??). I also really want chickens one day so we can have fresh eggs. I'm like Tori Spelling - I want a farm, but I also want to be able to hire people to do the dirty work

We have a 7 yr old greyhound and I so much! I never knew I could love animals til we got her (it took my husband 2+ years to convince me to get a dog!)

We have a silver Lab, and a black kitty We had frogs, but one escaped.... still have no idea where he ended up at, and the other died

I have had a succession of goldfish that I seem to be deadly to I am trying to teach Liam to care for a pet and I'm failing. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong for them. He wants a bunny but I refuse to get one until I think he can handle it and I can keep it alive!
My nanny has a little dog. She got it when Liam was 2. My husband said no and put his foot down. Then his foot stepped onto a plane and went to Europe for two weeks and my nanny and I went out and got her one haha His name is Chesterfield and Liam is in love with him. My husband couldn't say to get rid of him when he got home after seeing that! Plus I would never allow it.

We have 2 dogs, the first is a labradoodle named Franklin. He was given to me on my 30th by my husband, I'd clone this dog if I could.
On my last day of maternity leave, I had a weak moment and was clearly thinking with my heart rather than my brain and went and rescued a dog at a shelter that was about to be put down, an English Pointer that we named Theodore. He's only a puppy and he's deaf so it's been a major adjustment- most days we manage. LO is just over the moon about Teddy. She could look and laugh at him for hours.

We have 2 Golden Retrievers. Well...really just one because my older Golden now lives with my parents (but he's still mine, I love him to death). He has had cancer this last year and my mom is home all day so it seemed better for him to be there (probably one of the hardest decisions I've ever made). Our younger one goes to doggie daycare which the older one would have hated (not a big fan of other dogs).

He loves my parents' house and they are a little slower paced so I think it works out for the best. Their names are Beckett and Bailey.

We have 2 crazy boxers. I hope they like kids! lol!

we have two furbabies. Bailey (girl) an almost 5 year old beagle terrier, and Buddy (boy) an almost 4 year old yorkie terrier.

Well seeing as my name is Rescuemom....yep...into animal Rescue. Man you all are going to think we are nuts. Its a lot of work in our house but I would not have it any other way....so here it goes....
