We have the bjorn potty seat that goes over the toilet. love it bc it seems very comfortable for dd and it just blends in nicely with our bathroom. she is totally independent with puttin it on and off the toilet. We started potty training around 18-20 months casually. She really started to get the hang of it at 2.5 yo. She's a total pro now at 3.5.

We decided to go straight for the one that goes on the toilet bc we figured getting her used to a little seat and then the real thing was just something we could skip and bc there was less cleanup involved!

I'm think of starting my 3.5 month old with EC too though. I'm still researching it, but might get the potty seat for the floor just bc I feel like she's too little for the big toilet... We'll see.

I just got my nephew the bjorn chair. I asked my brother what he needed and he said he needed a potty trainer. It got the best reviews. *shrugs shoulder* I hope it works for them. I didn't get the toilet seat one, though. I thought the chair was better since you can use it anywhere. (I have no idea though since I don't have any kids.)

i asked the pedi which type to get and he recommended the floor model over the toilet one. so far so good. she "boops," as she calls it, in the potty every day.

We also have the Bjorn potty chair, although I'm also looking at getting a potty seat soon. I haven't made up my mind on which one yet, though!
