Can anyone tell me what kind of rash this is and whether I should call the doctor? Both twins have it but neither seem to be affected otherwise (no fever) and they've both had it for about five days now. They're only 5 weeks old.
Pictures are baby b because baby a's not nearly as bad.

First off, adorable baby.
Second off, I would call the doctor after 5 days. Could be something as simple as sensitive skin, but it's kind of weird both babies have it. Makes me think viral?
Does your older son have a rash too? What about you guys?

Looks like severe erythema toxicum, but pictures are tough and if it were my twins I'd want a second set of eyes on it!

@LBee: No one else has had the rash. I thought it was some sort of contact dermatitis from something they may have worn or rubbed up against but that should've gone away by now.
@Mrs. Jacks: Thanks. I'll call the pediatrician. I swear he thinks I'm a hypochondriac with as much as I call him lol.

@Mrs. Jacks: agree with Mrs Jacks. Looks like E tox but pictures are only part if the story with rashes. I'd have your doc look at it.

@Mrs. Jacks: @sapphire: You both were right. I took them in and the pediatrician said it's just a late onset version of it, but we should have nothing to worry about. Thank you for the advice.

@marionberry: Glad you got it squared away! It's always scary to try and guess on the internet based on pictures... and we would hate to get it wrong.

@marionberry: I was just going to say that my DS had it right after birth, though not as bad and it went away within a few weeks. Glad you got it sorted out though!

@marionberry: I hope it goes away quickly for them! The doctors at the hospital assured me that it didn't bother him, even though it looked like it would!
