I'm definitely getting some Natives for Charlie. They stay on much better than Crocs for him, and we spend a ton of time getting wet in the summers at the local playgrounds. They were awesome last summer and the only pair of shoes he needed.
For Olive I'm torn between Saltwater Sandals because they're just so darn cute and Natives.
What summer shoes are you getting for your LO?

Our day care has a closed toe shoe policy so my kids don't have too much opportunity to wear sandals. But DS has a new pair of crocs and a pair of water shoes (from Target) for day care water play. DD will get a pair of water shoes as well (not sure from where yet) and already has some sandals that fit, so that's probably it!

I bought her a pair of Stride Rite sneakers and just bought a pair of tiny toms from @mrsjyw 
I'm not sure what we'll do for a water shoe at this point.

Great post! We have a pair of crocs (from grandma) and a pair of saltwater sandals. She also has a pair or two of daycare friendly shoes.

I don;t know yet, but we are going on vacation in a few weeks, so i was thinking i need to get him sandals or something for the beach - any recommendations? He is 4.5 months

@PurpleUnicorn: he won't be standing on his feet so shoes aren't really necessary at that age. you could just get something cheap like flip flops at old navy if you wanted to get something. i wouldn't spend a lot!

We have a pair of SKR Smaller sandals, but LO's foot is way smaller than I anticipated. I'll probably check out Stride Rites. She's just cruising now, but I expect she will definitely be walking by then.

I'll probably have lo wear crocs or natives.
Tried saltwater sandals and she didnt like them.. I didnt like how they didnt do a good job protecting her wild running feet either.
