I’m not a huge fan of it. DD is 7 weeks. I feel like she’s awkwardly slipping around on it the whole time and the material is really cold. Just doesn’t seem like a comfy way to bathe.
Suggestions for tubs or other bathing alternatives?

We just held onto LO in the sink till she got too big. We use this now.

We’ve had the fisher price whale tub since my first! It has a little seat insert to hold up little ones who can’t sit. I like just filling a small tub when they’re really little. We use it on the counter to start and move it into the tub when they get bigger (and move to a laundry basket in the big tub when they can sit well).

We have a summer infant bath sponge that I lay him on in the tub with a couple inches of water. It’s warm and soft!

We used the Puj in our bathroom sink. Worked good until about 4-ish months when he outgrew it (he was/is long) and then we just used the tub with a bathmat.

We use the Boon baby bathtub and I love it. No mesh parts to get slimy, it tilts if needed and is super easy to clean and store. 5 months in and use it every night:

We also used the FP whale tub for both kids. Around 1 we switched to an inflatable tub and ditched that when DS2 was big enough to bathe with DS1 in the big tub.

But for the second kiddo I bought this

The name is ridic but so far I REALLY like it. Lo is propped up well, doesn’t slide down like he did in all of the others. I also like the longevity potential of it. I can foresee putting him in it in the big tub along with his sister but it allows me to keep them separate with safe water levels for each.

We used the Puj when they were really little. It’s the only one we’ve tried that isn’t cold, and it’s easy to wipe clean and store flat.

LO didn’t love baths and maybe at the two month mark I ended up bathing with him. A mom friend told me she did that with her kids and it was so relaxing for everyone. I was able to breastfeed him at the same time.

We used a cheap plastic tub with a newborn sling when she was really little. I put it in the kitchen sink to make it easier to reach her. We didn't switch to the big tub until she was a good bit older.

We have one of those folding tubs which I didn't like (he slipped around everywhere!) So, I honestly took baths with him forever until he was able to sit up on his own.

I used the 4moms tub in our kitchen sink for both DDs as newborns/infants. For DD1, around 6 months we moved her to the inflatable duck tub, and for DD2, she just went right in the tub with big sister as soon as she could sit up, like 4-5 months.
