We drink bottled water and from our fridge's filtrated water.
I never minded tap water, but don't like the taste now in recent years.

Tap. NYC has very clean/good tap water. We used to have a filter but now we don't bother.

I voted fridge cause that is what I drink most of the time. but I drink a bottle or two a week. Then we have big jugs of water at work. Sometimes at home I just drink tap too.

Tap water filtered through a Brita. Our fridge doesn't have a built-in filtration system.

Chicago has good tap water from what I hear so I usually use that to cook soups, coffee, and in a pinch, drink from our master bathroom sink in the middle of the night (nursing makes you thirsty!). Otherwise, we have filtered water coming from the fridge. I'm not opposed to drinking bottled water at all...its just a convenience thing. Its heavy to shop for in bulk!

We have a Brita filter. I don't mind the tap water and I know it's completely safe, but the Brita water tastes just a bit better to me. When I use water for cooking I use tap water.

Same as @IRunForFun: . We like room temperature water, so we leave the Brita on the counter.
I normally don't mind drinking straight tap, but the tap water where we live now tastes weird to me.

All of the above. Our tap water tastes fine, but I will grab a bottle when I am out and about, and water at work comes from the frdige filer.

We have a water dispenser at home (like Culligan, but from a local small biz) - so technically bottled water, but it's a big bottle I don't usually mind tap water, but the city water where we live tastes a bit chemical-y to me.

Voted tap water because that is what we drink at home. At work we have both bottled and filtered water because the tap water tastes gross.

We have a berkey filter that we use.
@Fronkinzankinsbride: my parents have well water too and I love the taste!

@Fronkinzankinsbride: my parents also have well water. wish we did!

Tap. We just got back from vacation and had to have bottled water throughout our trip. It's so nice to be able to drink delicious tap water again!

Fridge-filtered, because its easy. But at night I drink tap water from the bathroom. Our water's good!

I have a thing about tap water. It's like me and my love for public education--I want it to be good and available to all (well, all who live in an urban area). So I have to practice what I preach! That being said, I am fortunate to live in an area with decent tasting tap water!

@mrsjyw: @Fronkinzankinsbride: Oh man, I don't know why but I just can't stand the taste of well water! That's what all of DH's family has!
I drink the filtered water from the fridge. Although we haven't changed our filter in FOREVER hahaha....I just drink it form there because it's nice and cold! Otherwise it doesn't matter to me, I would definitely just drink tap!

Mostly tap, although we have a filtered dispenser on our refrigerator. It takes too long to sit there and wait for it to fill up my big jug of water, though, so I mostly stick with the tap.
@MrsBrewer: My in-laws farmhouse has well and I can't stand it! I've noticed that it's mostly the smell, not really the taste, so I've had good luck drinking well water from a straw!
coconut / 8854 posts
@twodoghouse: I'll have to try the straw thing, because I agree, I think it's the smell too! I always have to bring bottled water with me when we go and visit, but then I feel like the "city girl" (his family all live on farms)

We use a Pur pitcher to filter tap water. I don't like the waste associated with bottled water, and it's just a huge waste of money imo

Bottled. We have a fridge filter, but it tastes funny. If we're at restaurants, I get tap water.

We have a Brita pitcher for filtered water that we use for coffee and bread doughs. I'll drink from it as well, but usually just drink tap. We have a water cooler at work so I use that to fill my cup.

We only drink Poland Spring bottled. Our tap water is disgusting, IMO. It leaves red/orange stains on everything and even using a Brita with it didn't work - it left tons of sediment in the water. I don't even let the dog drink our tap water straight up, we have a pur filter on the sink that use for her. But the Pur water doesn't taste good enough to me to drink it.

Tap filtered through a Culligan RO filter. We tried fridge filtered water for a few years but it was bad. It left stains on the glasses and smelled awful so we sucked it up and installed a real filter.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@ShootingStar: We had the same problem. When we switched to RO water her lifelong tear stain problem finally went away!

I think all 3, tap/filter/bottled. Our fridge has a filter, I'll grab a bottle to go tha we keep on hand, and I drink tap water at work.

Our tap water is great, but I usually drink it from the fridge because it's always super cold.

water from our fridge!
i try to stay away from bottled water now.
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
All of the above. I'm not too picky about my water! We probably drink bottled less often simply because of the expense.
I also love a glass of sparkling water.

We drink tap water. We have a well at is unfiltered so it's literally exactly the water that comes out of the ground!
honeydew / 7667 posts
I voted fridge because that is what i drink most but really it is all of the above.
