LO eats breakfast and lunch. He usually eats at 5, (I go back to work tomorrow) and it kind of makes me sad for him to eat dinner there too. Maybe I should push a snack at 430 and dinner at home?

Lo eats a snack at daycare at 4:30 and we eat dinner at 6-6:30. Her snack is usually a veggie purée pouch and some cheese.

They offer him breakfast & lunch (he usually doesn't eat the breakfast though) and 2 snacks. The pm snack is around 3:30-4:00 and we eat dinner at home at 5:45. I think offering a snack in the afternoon would be a good idea.

We do in-home daycare and LO eats breakfast and lunch with the nanny. We make a point to eat dinner together, even though its much later than most. I usually give her a snack when I get home around 4:30, then we all eat dinner together when DH gets home around 7. I didn't want to sacrifice the family dinner. I think an afternoon snack would work out great!

@matador84: what time do you pick him up? Could you do breakfast (aka morning snack), lunch and afternoon snack there? Do they have set times for meals? Our daycare does am snack at 9, lunch at 11:30 and afternoon snack at 3. She eats dinner anywhere between 5 and 6. I'm sure if he gets a later snack, he could make it to a later dinner!

@mediagirl: they do whatever I want them to do. Currently he does breakfast at 8, snack 1030, lunch 12, snack 330. I'll pick him up at 530 daily. Normally since I've been off, he does dinner at 5 and is asleep by 7-730.

@matador84: could you make a 6/6:30pm dinner work? It sounds like with a 3pm snack he could make it until then! We do 5:30pm dinner with a 6:30pm bedtime.
