For Olive, it's definitely when she rolled over. She had been a bit on the slower side for milestones (relative to her brother), so it was a huge relief when she finally rolled over!!
For Charlie, I'd have to say that it was so exciting when he took his first step! Crawling was pretty awesome too. I guess I got excited about all of the big milestones (crawling, walking, talking).
What milestone(s) did you get most excited about with your LO?

I get so excited about everything. I was even crazy excited the day she found her feet, and then when she learned how to put her feet in her mouth, etc. Now I'm looking forward to crawling and her first tooth.

I get excited over everything. LO JUST stood up on her own from kimchee squat position! First time she did it. Usually she holds onto the couch and then lets go to stand on her own.
Ahhhhhhh.
I'll probably die with excitement when she starts walking! She's a late walker!

When LO started crawling, I wanted to squish her! Now, she's trying to pull herself up to standing and it makes me excited. I also get excited when she learns new babbling sounds.

Standing, so that I didn't have to find a place to "put" her. I could just plop her down on the ground to stand. I found that to be highly convenient.
And then now as she talks more and more, of course that is cool, too.

@Andrea: That's how I felt when LO starting sitting on her own. I could just plop her down and she wouldn't go anywhere.

@Rubies: your lo is so far ahead of mine! I blame her chubbyness. She's 22 1/2 pounds.... that's a lot of weight to hold up and drag around.

For Mavrick was when he first walked. I caught it on tape (iphone cam) and honestly it still makes me so giddy.

I guess I'd say I get more excited for the rolling over, crawling, walking type vs other types of milestones. They are all important, but there is just something about watching your child become mobile that is so exciting!
