@MungBean: Aww...
I don't think E is actively working on any right now....he JUST figured out sitting up unassisted and crawling last weekend.

I swear she's trying to sit up at only 3 months. She does crunches when she's on her back and she can get like three inches off the ground!!

LMW can't sit up on her own yet (7 months) but doesn't seem to be working on it. Instead she is working on crawling. She can crawl backwards just fine and does 180s all the time but she's trying to crawl forward. She does these little lunges (and goes "uhhh!") and faceplants directly into the ground multiple times a day.

So is mine! last week she has been standing up from a sitting position unassisted. She can stand alone for a few seconds!

@FutureMrsMcK: That's great! How old is your LO again?
@MamaMoose: Whoa, that's awesome! She's gonna have some abs of steel
@mrs. wagon: Haha I remember those lunges! My LO used to rock back and forth on all fours all the time
@caffeinated: Yay! Your LO is a couple months younger than mine, I think? She's probably be gonna walking @ her dohl!

@MungBean: Sigh, he'll be 7 months on Friday. Where does the time go?

LO is working on pulling up to standing an cruising. He's mastered crawling and pulling up to kneeling. He's 9 months old.

I guess she's working on sitting up, even though I know it will be a while before she can do it (3 months old)...She pulls up all the time when she's propped on the Boppy or in her swing or chair. I started using the Bumbo last week and she loves it... I know it won't happen for a couple of more months but she is sure trying!

@MungBean: yah, she is. You can tell she knows it is a big deal when she stands alone because she will start laughing with glee. I don't know about walking though. She cruises furniture but will sit as soon as i try to walk with her. She might just not like being helped! Yours will be walking very soon...where does the time go??

M is a year and she has already taken her first steps but she's working now on being a more proficient walker. Lala is working on reading readiness... sounding out words and doing some sight words.

He just learned how to crawl, pull up & go from crawling to sitting all in the last 2 weeks so he's working on perfecting all of that. He's also super interested in making things make noise and feeding himself. He's not quite 6 and a half months.

Walking at almost 14 months. He actually took a step from me to the dog the other day. So proud :')
Oh yeah, the other milestone he is working on is not crashing into the coffee table! Coffee table: 14, C:0.

10 months, and taking more and more unassisted steps, so crazy where did she go getting so big on me!

P has mastered pulling up on everything she can & yesterday I saw her reach for the side table next to her so I'd say cruising is going to be her next triumph. =)

@MamaMoose: my LO used to do that...we would say she has stronger abs then we do I bet your LO will be sitting up soon!

@Irishmom: I can't wait for her to sit up so we can play more easily. But then I want her to quit it on developing so quickly. I NOT ready for her to be mobile!'

@MamaMoose: My husband and I were just saying LO became so fun when she could sit up. It opened so many doors for playing and just having her sit and watch while I cooked, cleaned, etc. I am with you...she is starting to pull herself up...but, I am not ready for more mobility!

At 9 months she's trying to pull herself up and I guess trying to crawl since she's only able to army crawl.

@MamaMoose: My LO was doing that around 3 months too!
DD is 4 months old and just rolled over from front to back today...completely out of nowhere and so smoothly and easily. However she's been rolling from back to front for about a week.

Lo is 5.5 months and trying to crawl - she's shuffling backwards at the moment which frustrates her.

i don't know how much LO is really trying but DH and I are actively encouraging him to crawl. He's 6 months and I know it's early still but it doesn't hurt to try!
