I worked in Marketing and Events for a casino and I compiled and designed the internal company newsletter for employees...I included employee birthdays and apparently we had an employee named FELONY. Like Melanie. But tougher, lol

@sunshineandsushi: Naming a child Sir in the black community is based in a desire for the male to be given respect when they become a man. Not as prevalent today, but five decades ago black men were called "boy" or by their first name and not Mr. So and So even when a child addressed them. At least with a furst name of Sir the man was called something dignified.

I used to think these were funny, but now I just feel sad when I read these... It must really suck for people who have these names or gave them to their children. I mean, it's already done... Who knows. maybe they'll realize what they did and file for a name change..
