Slide? Playhouse? Watertable?
I have a local mommy that wants to sell me tons of her outdoor toys for cheap and they're in great condition and I'm so tempted! But I don't want to overdo it!
So I want to know what do your toddlers REALLY loved in the yard?

She got a slide, watertable, and swing for her 1st bday. Still loved them last summer. The slide was great cause we did so she could slide in to the pool. She got a little playhouse for outside for her 2nd bday, loves it. The blow up pool, 4 in 1 tricycle, and baseball set are big hits too. Bubble blower, even the lawn mower that blows bubbles (which doesn't work good), were hits.

@Smurfette: ohhhh DD would love the bubble lawn mower I think!
Our backyard is crap but getting it re done with to money I can't wait she will run wild this summer

Aside from the usual suspects like his cozy coupe... he likes his water table and gardening stuff. He really likes to take his wheelbarrow and pretend to do yard work.
We are obviously raising him up right.

@FaithFertility: it isn't worth the money if you ask me. Never really blew bubbles but she likes to push it around.

@FaithFertility: So far our friend is giving us a water table & a little picnic table thing. I think I'm def getting the playhouse and slide! I feel like it'll be a good thing to have her be outside a lot since we've been stuck inside SO much this winter! I just hope the mosquitos won't be too bad............
@LBee: Hahah that is too cute! That's a great idea tho. DH maintains two garden beds that we grow veggies from so DD can pretend to be a helper!

@snowjewelz: He really likes to pretend to garden (slash destroy our flower beds). Added bonus is he will often pick me flowers from the gardenia bushes -- insert all the emotions.

@LBee: aww! Someone asked what to get LO for her bday and I said a gardening set. She has one little thing and loves to help DH.

So that's the little wheel barrow? It's so cute! Not as big as I thought which is a good thing!

Our 2.5 year old has a slide, water table, a push lawn mower, sand box, and various ride on toy trucks... Oh and a tricycle!

@snowjewelz: M has a roadster coupe thing we can push him around in & he got a water table for his bday that we'll set up once we move. We only have a small patio since we're in an apt, so not much room for outdoor toys.

We're in the process of re-doing our outdoor area. DD gets a ton of use out of her goal net (she loves soccer), and has a big bin of kinetic sand. We added some crates for muffin tins and measuring cups, and she has her own little bakery.
This summer, we're adding t-ball and a fairy garden.
