I start on my back and end up on my sides or belly. I switch throughout the night.

@Smurfette: same! Except now I'm pregnant so I have to sleep on my side. BOOOOOO. lol

@sorrycharlie: ahaha. I do that too sometimes -- just stick my foot out and give my DH a little shove
I have been pregnant for 14 out of the past 18 months so by default I have to sleep on my side. Before that, I was a back sleeper. I still sometimes wake up that way!

@Mae: That was one reason I couldn't sleep when pregnant. I couldn't get comfy on my side.

@Smurfette: I've luckily worked it out, mostly. But it took a 4" memory foam mattress pad, an extra bed pillow, and a body pillow to make it happen.

@Mae: yeah I had a body pillow. It helped some. I am going to buy a different one when we have another.

Sort of half on my stomach, half on my side with a pillow under my drawn up top leg (like a flamingo) and another small pillow on my lower back. Ever since E was born.

I'm working on getting used to my side, since that will be necessary soon. But I prefer my belly. I do tend to wake up on my side or back usually though.

Back. I was so sad when I couldn't anymore when I was pregnant!

Side. Usually left side to actually fall asleep and now that I'm pregnant I switch sides a few times during the night.

I usually start out on my right side (most often) or my back, but wake up on my stomach with my head under the pillow.

I'm a stomach sleeper and it was so hard to get comfortable when I was pregnant.

I'm so angry about my sleep position!

Sprawled out!!! My husband is always pushing me back to my side of the bed at night because I like to take up aaaaaallllllll the space.

I sleep on my side but I thrash around all night. When we wake up in the AM DH's side looks completely undisturbed and mine is a mess. Good thing we have a king sized bed!

Since being pregnant I'll sleep on my sides. I have to switch a bunch of times during the night to stay comfortable, and usually I'll wake up and roll to my back, and sometimes fall back asleep on my back for a while.

I sleep on my stomach with one leg pulled up and the other thrown over DH (not his favorite) or my side.

I used to sleep on my back, but when I was pregnant, I started sleeping on my side and now that's what I'm used to, so I'm a side sleeper!

Mostly on my side, even when I'm not pregnant, but I do like to sleep on my back, also. Can't wait to be able to do that again!

I was a stomach sleeper until I was pregnant and since then I've slept on my side. I will sometimes lay so I'm somewhere between stomach and side. I always have to have one foot out from under the covers though.

I do not discriminate among sleeping positions. They all have an equal chance of being used throughout the night.

@.twist.: Ditto!! Normally a belly sleeper, but side/back sleeper now due to BF. I mean side/back layer bc let's be real, there's no sleeping going on at this house. lol

Belly, trying to get it in while I'm not pregnant, otherwise I sleep on my side.
