I am finishing up the nursery, and making (hopefully) one last trip to buybuybaby before LO arrives. I realized that the only baby products I have are from one of those johnson & johnson gift sets and am, honestly, completely clueless as to what else I need for diaper changes, sickness, etc...
Please help! What kind of products do use for your baby or like to have on hand for emergency situations?

I have a seven month old. I have aveeno stuff. Unscented baby moisturizer, diaper cream, and a body wash/shampoo combo. I also have Penaten, but have never opened it yet. Same with my baby oil and baby powder. I believe they're Johnson and Johnson.
As far as sickness, I have the nosefrida (have yet to use it), saline drops, Mylicon, and baby Tylenol, and a thermometer. And vitamin D drops daily.

Baby powder (but I didn't use it under the toddler years and I only sprinkle it in my hand then pat them down)
Hmm...on the lower shelf, I have cotton balls, baby q-tips, finger nail clippers, wash clothes but that's about it.

- Nosefrida (lifesaver. life. saver.)
- hand sanitizer
- saline drops
- ColicCalm (homeopathic gas drops -- also a complete lifesaver)
- tube of vaseline
- Butt Paste
- thermometer (love our Vicks digital)
- nail clippers
- Mustela foaming shampoo (only thing that kept the cradle cap
at bay)
- Mustela soap and no-rinse gentle cleanser (don't remember the
exact names but they came in the starter set)

We primarily cloth diaper and use natural body products, so this might be a bit different than your needs. But, in the changing area we have:
Spray bottle with water (we just wet cloth wipes with water)
California baby diaper spray (for really messy/sticky diapers)
Hand sanitizer
Coconut oil
Weleda baby lotion
Earth mama angel baby diaper cream
Little twig zinc diaper cream and some destiny for bad diaper rashes (use only with disposables)
Thermometer (we use a rectal one)
Vitamin d supplement (baby Ddrops)
Nail files
Chest rub (natures baby)
In the bathroom we have:
Infant acetaminophen (we like the little remedies brand)
Saline Nasal spray
Bulb syringe (we didn't get a nose frida, and it's been ok because she just got her first cold now at 10 months, but if I had a fall/winter baby or she was in childcare I would probably want one)
Baby soap (little twig)

Just diapers and wipes! My baby will try to sit up or kick anything on the table... in the drawer I have nose frida, Tylenol, and wholesome baby diaper cream. Some lotion I used once and vitamin d drops.

I liked to have things at the diapering station so I could completely redress my son if needed, so the majority of the things I had were clothing related, pajamas, socks, changes of clothes.
I really like Silva's list, and I would suggest getting doubles, especially if your changing station is on a different floor than than your living area.
