DH has a short black, very warm down filled Cole Hahn winter coat. He also has a longer black wool (but with a down fill, too) warm duffle coat kind of like the picture below.

But now he things they are both too casual to wear to work in winter. I guess he wants more of the "overcoat" style, but he's also pretty cheap. He's definitely not going to be throwing down over $1000 for a Brooks Brothers overcoat.

Macy's has some in the $200 range, but are they going to be warm enough? What do your husbands wear to work in the winter, when you live in a cold climate but they need to look professional?

Personally, I feel like the duffle coat is fine, but he thinks it looks like a "going out" coat, whatever that means.
