We have 2.
1) Chase Amazon card. It works well for us because we order a ton of stuff on Amazon, and all Amazon orders are 3x the points. You can redeem for basically anything – free stuff on Amazon, gift cards, travel on any airline/cruise/vacation package, etc. I think grocery and restaurants are 2x points.
2) JetBlue Amex. Jetblue is our preferred airline, and we got 20k points for signing up, so we did. So far it seems to build points quickly, and JetBlue has flights for reasonable amounts of points. Easily earn several free flights per calendar year with our level of spending.

We have Chase Freedom and Sapphire! We just like that points can be redeemed for a variety of things, including getting cash back!

Do you want a credit card for cash back or miles/points for travel? My newest hobby is collecting miles. There are tons of blogs on this topic. If you want a card for miles the best one for you will be dependent on which airline carrier is most convenient from your city.

I have the United MasterCard. I generally rack up enough points to pay for a ticket to see DH's family each year, so it's worth the annual fee.
I also have the Gap Card, but really to just feed my BG obsession and buy work pants and jeans for me.

1. Starwoods Amex for Sheraton/Westin properties. We've stayed free nights lots of places and really easy to use. That said now with a baby and needing suites we may change to a different card. May change to Hawaiian or JetBlue.
2. DH's business card is Southwest. We fly on it a lot because it services both our family's hometowns and it allows us to haul a lot of luggage. We flew for free at Christmas and get a free flight once or twice again during the year.

@lawbee11: see, I don't know! I don't really fly much for personal travel.
If I did a card for miles I wouldn't want them to expire - does that card exist?
Thought about doing Disney since we would like to take the kids in about 2 years
I have amazon but I feel like there is something better out there.

Capital One Venture. You can use your miles for any sort of travel expense: flights, rental cars, and hotels. The miles don't expire. You book your travel whatever way you want and then get reimbursed - it is super easy and fast. This year I am getting at least 2 free flights which is nice that we have to pay for DD's flights now.

@Mamaof2: I think miles typically expire after 18 months, but that timeline is reset any time you fly or make purchases, so as long as you keep doing those things they won't expire. IMO the Disney card is not your best option. You'd be better off with a straight up cash back card then just applying the cash back towards your trip.
The Chase Freedom is a great card for cash back or miles if used in conjunction with the Chase Sapphire Preferred. The Freedom has no annual fee and has a 5% rotating quarterly cash back system. This quarter it's gas and Kohl's. So I'm getting 5% cash back every time I buy gas and I'm not paying an annual fee. Used in conjunction with the Sapphire Preferred (which has a $95 annual fee but waived the first year) you can transfer points to United, Southwest, and other major hotel partners.

We have a bunch so it would be hard to list them all. We just rotate using them according to what the best points incentives are and what we are planning to do with the points. The Points Guy blog is really helpful in determining what card might best suit your needs.

Capital One... You can redeem for flights or get reimbursed for travel already taken. We put everything on that card (& pay off monthly) & have gotten 1-2 flights reimbursed each year for the $40 or $50 annual fee.. WELL worth it to us!! There are other options for reimbursement, but the exchange isn't as good for those options. The points never expire, either!

Alaska airlines- one $100 companion fare a year. This year we are going to Hawaii and save about $500. Also miles! SW Visa for my business. I feel like I get miles quickly and cheap flights like PDX->LAS use a small amount of points. I also have have a BR card forever and love that I can get free shipping from all 3 Gap inc stores. They frequently give an extra 10% off to cardholders on top of sale. If you pay it off in full I think the perks are awesome. If you shop at Gap a lot it's totally worth it. T, M and I wear a lot of Gap Inc clothes.

@lawbee11: thanks for the link!
@youboots: I think AA also has a $100 companion fare and 1st bag checked free - which would be awesome if we flew more.... then again if we had those perks maybe we would fly more!
So many to choose from!

Discover Card and Chase Freedom for 5% cash back on rotating categories. Limit is $75 cash back per quarter.
Fidelity Visa 1.5% and Fidelity Amex 2% on everything with no limit on max rewards.

We have Delta and Marriott rewards cards that we primarily use. But I also have a generic BOA Visa that collects points too.
