I've tried a lot of organic lines including burt's bees, episencial, little twig, avalon organics... but usually end up using california baby. But it's pretty pricey and we go through it pretty quickly!

California Baby Super Sensitive Shampoo! It is the best for my LO's ezcema. Definitely pricey but so worth it.

We've been using J&J's but ever since the whole thing about it having toxins came out, I've been on the hunt for something else.

We've tried A LOT of other baby shampoo/body washes and the only one that doesn't give baby a rash is California Baby Super Sensitive. Yes, it is expensive but definitely worth it.
Tip: Most books recommend using a very minimal amount of soap when bathing babies so I dilute the body wash with water (about 40% shampoo/ 60% water) and put it in a foaming pump dispenser. Two benefits of the foam: doesn't drip through your hands and it's spreads easier while using less soap. You can do the same with dish and hand soap.

We use Aveeno and started with Mustela when she was a newborn. Mustela has a strange smell though.

@Mrs. Marbles: i've been wary of Aveeno ever since finding out it's owned by Johnson and Johnson!

@Mrs. Bee: I didn't know that! Uhh... I am going to have to check on this. The other brand I was interested in was California Baby but it so pricey! You certainly get what you pay for.

@Mrs. Marbles: I just bought aveeno body wash and lotion to try to save some money, esp since we have two kids to bathe. then mr. bee noticed that they're owned by j&j, so now i'm back to california baby.

We also use Yes To Carrots, I have very sensitive skin and in order for me to bathe her I need to use something that doesn't make my hands break out in a rash (eczema).
I will only use lotions and soaps that do not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or anything in that family. When I was using an acupuncturist he told me to avoid anything with SLS in it (which includes toothpaste, shampoo, hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent...)

We use Dr. Bronner's and I love it! It is not tear-free, so I have to be careful around her face, but I think I've only ever gotten it in her eyes less than 10 times in the year we've been using it. I love that has very few ingredients (I think 5 or 6? And most of them are just saponified oils) and it also lasts FOREVER. We got a big bottle at Target for $15 on November 11th last year and I estimate I've still got a month's use left on it. I am very sparing with the amount I use because it lathers up a lot.

I use Cetaphil all over for my LO. It's not expensive and it is good for her eczema.
I just realized today that I was using J&J baby oil. It doesn't seem to have any of the bad ingredients in it but I think I will dump it just in case. I just ordered some Burts Bees baby oil on Amazon. It got good reviews - has anybody tried it?

Earth Mama Angel Baby! The shampoo/body wash smells like fresh oranges. I've never been a fan of overly powdery scents so it is right up my alley.
