I would try taking it back to BRU. Sometimes they're nice and will give you a store credit for the current/full retail value.

@Running Elley: Was it off your registry? If so you don't need a receipt. They will take it up to a year without one and just use your registry. If not I would still try to return it, then sell. Maybe a local FB baby resale group, Craigslist or something.

I would first call BRU corporate and ask for their policy in this situation. Most likely they will let you return or exchange at least for the current value, which is easier than trying to sell it online.

I'd return it! You'll probably get store credit, but it'll be for more than what you'd get from just trying to sell it.

@Running Elley: Good luck! I would definitely try the store first, but hopefully someone snatches it up on FB if you can't return it (they seem popular on my groups). I know BBB would have no problem returning it for store credit without any receipt, registry etc. hopefully BRU is the same.
