I'm about to get cable again (yay!!!!) so I'm already thinking about all the shows I've been missing for over a year and I need to start DVRing right away!!
Specifically, Food Network and HGTV are the two channels I miss the most and can't wait to get caught up on. I don't even know what shows are current. I've heard a lot of great things about Property Brothers.

I really only like Chopped on FN nowadays. I watch a lot of Travel channel actually, for Andrew Zimmern mostly!
On HGTV I watch random shows, I do like Property Brothers but I get sick of the same formats so I have to switch it up. I actually really like watching this chick restores run down houses... I forget what the name of the show is!
Right now I DVR all trashy TV 
Housewives of OC, Kardashians, Bachelorette, Marriage Bootcamp...

Food network-definitely chopped! Love that show.
Another good one on hgtv is flip or flop. I also like house hunters and house hunters renovations.
Don't know if reality tv is your thing, but in the summer most of the good shows are on hiatus, so I watch a lot of reality tv!

I love top chef, but that's on bravo - it's back on in the fall!! I like masterchef too on fox - I taped that via Aereo, but it looks like Aereo won't be around much longer an we don't have DVR!
