Charlie was 8.6 lbs at birth and was wearing size 3's by 3 months, maybe a little earlier. He wore size 3's for a long time. He's still in size 4's and he's 2 now. The growth will slow down, and I think your LO should be in size 4's for awhile. She'll slim down once she's mobile!

My LO's wearing size 4. I think we put her in 4s at around 7 months? She's in the >98th% for height and 90th for weight.
She's 9 months old now.

My LO is wearing size 3 and she is 20 months. She is only 25th percentile weight and 90th percentile height. I think she'll still be in size 3s for a while as they fit fine with rarely any leaks.

at 8 lbs 9 oz the size 1's fit better than newborns when he was born. We wore those until we had enough of our cloth diaper stash. Then he was exclusively cloth diapered until last week. At 8 months old he is only 15 lbs so we have been getting the stage 2 diapers for him. He is just a tiny little peanut.
