LO1 is 2.5 and has a queen since we got a nicer mattress from my parents for ourselves. LO2 will have a twin because her room is so small.

Twin! Kids will share a room, at least for a little while. She's only 2.5 so it's a lot of room. I never got one larger than a twin when living with my parents.

M has a twin because we got a twin frame for free. If I was buying new I would probably get a full.

I never plan to get my kids anything larger than a twin. I never had more than a twin until after I graduated college. Kids don't need more room than that.

LO is getting a Full size when we move her in a couple months. I grew up in a Queen.

DS is 4 in a twin. I hope he will stay in that bed until he leaves home! Where we live, space is a premium, so I don't want to buy a larger bed and not have it fit if we move or if our two LOs will have to share a room at some point.
I was just browsing for a twin for LO2 last night. She's not ready for one yet, but I'm thinking we may buy the same one when she's ready.

Just bought dd a queen, we will be moving her this summer sometime. We need the room to double as a guest room and the room is large so we went with a queen. I'm hoping it's not too big for her.

M is in a crib and D has a twin. We have a queen, but we want to get a king, so D will get the queen and M will get the twin.

Our older is in a full size. The little is in a crib but will also get a full size when it's time.

She's in a full. It's a lot of space for her but it's great when we have to lay with her. I had a twin until I was a senior in high school while growing up though.

Right now, her crib with the front taken off. She will get a full when we move her into a regular bed. Then once she is around 10, we will buy her a nice bedroom suite and a queen bed.

Both my kids are in a queen!! Totally did not expect that (we planned on buying both twin beds) but we upgraded to a king right around the time we transitioned Wagon Jr. out of his crib so moving him to a queen cost us nothing. Then when shopping for a bed for LMW, I was adding up the cost for the bed, mattress, mattress pads, sheets, blankets, etc. and it was all adding up to over $1000. I stumbled across the Ikea bed I had been wanting for her on craigslist, including a new mattress, and it was a queen. Since we already had a ton of plain white and beige sheets all I had to buy was a comforter set to make it pretty... so she's in a queen as well! And my old sheets are getting plenty of use.

Right now he's still in the crib, but it will eventually convert to a full. I actually would've preferred to get him a twin bed eventually, but every crib we liked was a convertible to full size.
