I've decided a twin is too small. We spend a lot of time in her room reading to her and sometimes I want to comfort her in her bed but it's difficult to find a good way to do so on a teeny bed. I think when we move we will get her a bigger bed.
What size bed does your lo have? Or what size will he/she have?

He sleeps in his crib converted to a toddler bed right now, but we need the crib for baby sister soon. There is a full size bed in our guest room, soon to be nursery, so we will pass that bed along to him when we start getting the nursery ready. We won't have a guest room anymore, so it didn't make sense to buy him a different bed.

He just moved to a toddler bed this weekend that had been given to us. I plan to get him a full or queen size bed once he outgrows this one.

Twin! it's big enough for one of us to lay with him if needed. I've slept on the floor of his room though when he's really sick and needs mama.
DH wants to get the boys bunk beds when they're older!

She has a twin because her room won't fit anything bigger. The second largest bedroom is allocated for her, so, if and when we have a third she will move to that room. When that happens she'll probably get a full.

She's still in a crib but we ordered a twin over full bunk bed, so she'll sleep on the bottom (full) bunk.

We bought LO a full sized bed when we moved (she was 2.5). We figure she can use it til she goes to college.
Now I'm pregnant and the extra room is great to cuddle and read books.

She's still confined to crib jail, but when she graduates, she will have my twin bed from childhood.

We started with a twin and the proportions were all off, it was too high and not wide enough. Since I was starting from scratch with the bed and mattress, I decided just to get a full so that we could use it for guest overflow. With family on another continent, I like the option of having more sleeping space.

DD is still in her crib but when we do transition her it will be into a queen. We may do the crib with no rail thing first bc we have a convertible crib.

She has a full because it's our old guest bed. I do like laying in bed reading with her, even though the bed takes up a decent amount of space in her small room.

Twin. We don't have the space for something bigger. It's long though. My tall husband can sleep on it.

She went from crib to a queen, her room doubles as a guest room. I love that Dh, her and I can all snuggle together before bed!

DD sleeps on our bed for now, but she does have her convertible crib bed, and then a twin that she can have in the guestroom. I slept on a twin till I got married so I'm pretty sure she will too!

DS has a twin and DD is in the crib in teh same room. We'll convert her crib maybe around age 3 and then put another twin in the room thereafter.

She is in a twin. We both lie with her from time to time and there is lots of room so in sure she will stay in that.

Twin. LO's room is too small to accommodate a full size or queen. It would take up his entire room with little space for extra furniture.

Queen, since our parents sleep there when we visit (and I guess now Lo 1 will sleep on an air bed when they come).

Twin. It has a trundle that pulls out to be a king size, which is great when we have extra house guests.

I voted twin because she has a twin floor bed, but we cosleep and plan to for a long time.

Toddler/crib mattress for now (she is 3), but we are thinking of converting it (full size) and getting her bedding for Christmas.
