It's just the four of us so, we got a 12lb turkey this year.

We are having 12 people, but 3 are children so we went with an 18lb turkey. I hope it's big enough!!

21 pounder for 14 people...we went with the biggest we could find this year because we never have leftovers!

I usually get something around 16 pounds for 6 people. Not overkill, but enough for some leftovers. My husband loves turkey leftovers, whereas I could care less for turkey. Works out I guess!

We bought a 14 pounder for 7 people. My mom freaked out and made me feel like it wasn't enough though (it's our first year hosting). She said she would have bought a 20 lb bird if it were her. But that seems like so much to me.. I don't know.. hopefully our 14 lbs satisfies!

My mom got a 22 pounder for 13 people...lol

We have 2 20 pound turkeys and are having about 50 people over (my family is huge!)We deep fry them so it Only takes about 2 hours total for both.

We got a 22.5lb turkey.... there's only 7 of us but dh really loves left over turkey and wants me to make soup and what not out of it.

10 lb for 5 people. Everywhere online says 1-1 1/2 lbs pp.

We have a 13.5lb turkey for 3 of us. It's so much, but turkey is one of my favorite meats, so we'll have soup and pot pie and stuff made from it. We're frying it this year too!
