My top 3 are: real estate, skin care and new cars. Not like the mechanical part of new cars, just what they offer, the options, the prices, gas mileage, consumer report ratings, Edmonds ratings, Kelly blue book reviews. I'm always looking for a new car!

Photography I called dh yesterday to tell him about photographing using a new style and analyzed it on and on the phone for ten minutes lol. I also am always noticing beautiful light and locations at really random times.

Makeup for sure! Technique, products, comparing products (mainly drugstore vs. department), different brushes, love it all!

I love Psychology. I majored in it in college and even though I don't use it in my career, I still love it. I'm also a huge Meyers-Briggs nerd. I was just telling my SIL about it and DH told her "she is OBSESSED with that stupid test!" Haha.
I also get really into leaning everything I can about new things I'm into (cooking/baking certain dishes, TTC, etc.)

You want me to walk you through the filibuster? We could go through it's history and the current debate over what to do with it.
Right now I could walk you through some pretty good real estate law, especially surrounding disclosure.
I also love craftsman style architecture and furniture and could talk stickley vs Morris and discuss Green and Green houses for hours.
I'm sure there are half a dozen other things, but those are what come to mind right away!

@SpanielLove: It's horrific what has happened to German Shepherds. I get asked what kind of dog my GSD is frequently. People are surprised b/c she's not huge with the sloped back like they are used to seeing. Truth is, she is just the right size for a female German Shepherd.
I love researching and am happy to see many other people love it, too. Perhaps that's why people get along so well here at HB!
When I was a kid, I was really into ancient Egypt. Read books, took classes after school hours....then it was outer space, music (I was a band geek)....I loved the different things I've studied in education.
Right now, I"m trying to perfect the perfect roast chicken.

Doctor Who - new and old. Seriously, geeked out over it in a text discussion with my sister (who lives in California).
Sis: Not dead yet. Just reinvented.
Me: Just regenerated, you mean. Get it right
(Doctor Who reference)
Sis: Phoenix reference
Me: Eh. I guess that wins if we're taking into account the age of the reference - myth vs sci-fi. But if we take into account the fact that Doctor Who is a Time Lord, he could have been reason the phoenix reference was made to begin with. The light from his regeneration cycle considered a flame and from the ashes of the old stepped a new man.
Sis: Oh gad, get a hobby XD
