No candy today, but I had two large boxes of Dots over the past couple days, so I really needed to abstain.

@lilteacherbee: OOOH I used to have SF ice cream all the time during my pregnancy due to GD. It's soooo good.
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
@banana: It really doesn't taste too different (to me at least!) I have some almost every night! I was a chocolate fiend before I knew I had GD and I still crave it so bad, so SF chocolate ice cream is a godsend!

@lilteacherbee: It didn't taste different me either! Have you tried thin crust pizza as part of your GD diet? I used to eatTONS of it and it wouldn't affect my levels much. I loaded it up with tons of cheese, veggies and meats. SO GOOD.

@banana: Yes! It doesn't really affect mine either. Well I never really have high numbers anyway, so unless I'm SUPER bad, I'm still within range.

@banana: Mmmm yum! I love me some Boba drinks too. I think chewing the Bobas is a stress reliever. LOL

@lilteacherbee: Oh good! Glad your numbers aren't high! I used to gobble up protein burgers too (lettuce instead of bun).
@Kimberlybee: It really is! Have you ever tried pink honey boba? It's like regular boba but made of honey...and pink! It's super yummmmy!

Well I feel gross compared to everyone else...a chocolate truffle, a mini Reese's pumpkin, and Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

@banana: Yum! Yeah sometimes I wonder if I really have GD and then I'm reminded that I'm carrying a giant (he was estimated at 6.5 lbs at a 33 week ultrasound, yikes)!
@IRunForFun: Umm give me a month or so, and I'll definitely be right there with you

@IRunForFun: You aren't alone! 2 mini caramel apple milky ways a slice of homemade cake for my nephew's birthday. Will most likely have a cookie later on.

Is it weird that I think carbs are a sweet treat - I had half of a cinnamon raisen English muffin this morning (along with my usual bacon and eggs) and it was sooo good.
I'm about to have a mini Twix from the Halloween candy stash too

@lilteacherbee: My friend gave birth to an 8lb baby at 8 months. He's 3 now and the pediatrician said that his height and weight equals that of a 5 1/2 year old. And he's healthy as a horse and super athletic!

I had a pecan praline mcflurry at 2pm. had a super intense meeting with two other ladies and we decided to reward ourselves afterward for our hard work.

I've had a few mini peanut butter cups and a small macaron (both from Trader Joe's).
@lilteacherbee: Can we trade baby sizes? Mine measured at 4 lbs 14 oz last week at almost 36 weeks. The doctors are getting on my case.

@banana: Oh my gosh!! Yeah, I'm wondering if mine will be like that. It's funny because I'm petite (5'0") and my husband isn't very tall either.
@yin: Oh wow! I'm sure everything is fine. Maybe he's just a small baby. Are they worried about it? I'm just scared I'm going to have a 10 pounder!

Just some stress chocolate chips...out of the bag. I want some real dessert though!
