But if it did, and finances allowed, I would keep the original ring for sentimental reasons and buy a new one to actually wear. Maybe wear the old one on a chain or something.

I know nothing about tungsten - why can't it be resized? If it can't be resized, can it be melted down entirely and made into a new ring that fits? So same materials as original for sentimental value, but "new" ring that fits.
(Again, know nothing about tungsten so I apologize if this is a dumb question!)
