DD is 2 weeks old and after having severe nipple pain and it getting worse, not better I figured out she has an upper lip tie and has all the symptoms as well: poor latch, falling asleep at the boob after not nursing very long, reflux, gas. I'm in a lot of pain trying to nurse her but can't take it anymore and have been giving her a bottle of pumped milk. I've done a little research and it seems it's best to have it clipped/ lasered. Who do we see to have this done? Pedi? ENT? Dentist? I spoke to an LC about this and to see if she could guide me somewhere but she acted like lip ties are no big deal and shouldn't affect breastfeeding.

Any suggestions would be helpful!!
