DD is always hesitant to try something new. She usually needs us to gently persuade her (aka force her) to do something. She'll cry and kick and scream until she realizes it's really not that bad.

We want to potty train her (she's 2 now), but I don't think forcing her will work. She comes to us and lets us know when she pees and poops, but she won't go anywhere near the potty. We have tried to be relaxed about having her sit on it, but she doesn't want anything to do with it.

Any ideas on how I can get her to be more comfortable with the potty? FWIW, we have a potty seat for the big toilet and a little potty as well.
