Cousins Bachelorette Party is this Friday night. I am not close with her (at all, didn't even know she was dating someone), and am actually surprised I am invited. I don't think she has a big friend group. I don't feel comfortable getting her lingerie. Any other ideas? I don't want to get a gag gift either.

You have to bring a gift to a bachelorette party? I didn't realize those were gift giving occasions... I've never been to one where people brought presents.
Maybe a cute robe? Or a gift card to Victorias Secret?

I vote gift card! Nail salon is always great, or if you want to go with a lingerie theme without actually having to *buy* lingerie for her, you could get one to Victoria's Secret or wherever.

@citymouse: Can you contact the person hosting the party and ask if gifts are expected? The only time I've seen gifts given as part of a bachelorette party is when they are part of a game, like the lingerie game (everyone brings one item and the bride-to-be has to guess who brought what, etc) and that's usually specified on the invitation. May as well double-check before you spend money!
