We use Tom's... one of their fluoride free ones. We've been pretty happy with it.
ETA: We've actually been thinking about trying some toothpaste "powder" but having yet.

@runsyellowlites: isn't Tom's a green toothpaste? I am pretty sure that was the brand I tried at my friend's house. She was vegan and very much into organic at the time.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Don't think so.... I just did a quite google & found they're actually backed by Colgate so not very green at all. It's just the only fluoride free option we have here so that's why we use it.
If we wanted a greener option (which I'm sure we'll move to at some point) we'd use a powder, probably from a local wahm or more eco-friendly company.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: They're backed/own by the Colgate-Palmolive, same how Aveeno is J&J. I think I once heard that all major companies we know/buy are basically "owned" by just 5-6 companies up at the top. They are still a more "health conscious" company though so that's why we use them.... we've just been trying to limit our toxin exposure & I'm glad that we don't have to worry as much about that with them.
