we actually have 700 minutes. my husband gets his phone paid for so we got rid of data. and we have like 4 people on the plan (my in laws, BIL, and me) HEHE and we still don't go over.

@tequiero21: Wow! Mobile to mobile FTW..? haha. I hardly use our minutes. DH uses his phone a lot to make business calls. We have friends and family as part of our plan so 1400 works for us!
I can't believe you don't have text messagingggggg

@chopsuey119: what mobile ftw? i know, my husband is always threatening to get me the iphone. and everytime we check email or something on his phone, he always comments - well, i could just text message it to you. o wait, i can't.

Our plans here are different. They aren't by minutes but just $ worth of calls/text. I think mine is $650/month in calls. I never go near it!

I have no idea. My husband is in charge of phones. But I'm assuming unlimited everything.

We have 2000 shared minutes, family plan. unlimited text for me and DH. We have my parents and my in-laws on our plan.

@cupcakemama: what does that mean? does that mean you could potentially be spending $650/month??? i hope not! that's a crazy bill!

@tequiero21: mobile to mobile For the Win! MEaning.. all of your minutes are free since you call people with verizon!

700 min family talk plan with unlimited text (AT&T). I share the plan with my DH, my mom, my dad and my niece. We started out with 2100 min and slowly, we kept reducing the minutes. Woohoo!
My husband and I both have iphones so that $30 extra for each of us.

@tequiero21: Haha, you're like my family. We have 700 minutes with 5 people on the plan!

We both have iPhones so...
We have the smallest family minute plan AT&T has & never get even close to using them... I wish we could go even smaller! I believe that anyone we call that has at&t (landline or not) is free. ftw
DH has unlimited data (grandfathered in) & I have the 2gb plan (I use my wifi alot)
And unlimited texting.... I would literally DIE without this!

We have 700 shared minutes with four people, but we have free mobile to mobile, nights and weekends (7pm), rollover minutes, unlimited text, and corresponding data plans for two of the phones (mine and DH). We've never gone over our minutes, and we have a ridiculous bank of rollover minutes. Since most of our family/friends are also on AT&T, we're always using the free MtoM. We have a super old AT&T plan since DH has been with them since they were PacBell in '98ish. It's ridiculously cheap, and we can never leave AT&T because even the smallest plans on other carriers would double our bill.

@chopsuey119: exactly. i'd say except for like 2 friends, all have verizon.
@bluestriped bee: haha we use less than 700. if i could go lower, i would!

We have the unlimited plan through Sprint. With my discount, it's a fantastic deal.

We've got 700 minutes (but we have thousands in roll over), unlimited text & data, which we were on before AT&T made it unavailable for new users. We hardly ever go over our minutes...everyone we know has AT&T and we're more of a text/email type of family.

WE have a beyond awesome shared plan with Sprint b/c we were grandfathered in. The catch: no out of state calls and no data. No data!! Anyone who sends me fancy emoticons in their text, it's blank. I can keep this cheap plan with my old school phone until it breaks, then we'll be paying double or triple because we'll have to upgrade.
2000 shared minutes +text extra

700 minutes with unlimited texts for my dad, mom, lil brother, hubby, and myself. My dad, hubby, and I have data plans.

I don't really know what we have except that it's a family plan and my in-laws pay for it (we TRY to pay them, but they usually don't accept!) I know we have unlimited texting and a lot of data, but I think our actual phone minutes are pretty low for a family plan because I'm the only one who regularly talks to anyone.

I have no idea how many minutes I have since i never come close to using them, but I also have unlimited texting and unlimited data. I can't imagine a world without text messaging. Weird.

We have 700 minutes and unlimited texting with Verizon for DH, my dad, and myself. I have unlimited data but my DH and my dad have 2GB data packages.

I can’t remember how many minutes we have but it’s one of the smallest family plans available and we never come close to our minutes. Unlimited text and unlimited data, plus the additional data plan fee for the iphone. Plan is through Verizon and luckily I get a decent discount on it through my work.

We each have our own plan. I have 500 minutes, unlimited text, 4 GB of data. Verizon.

We have 700 minutes, unlimited text, and unlimited data. I never use all of my minutes because almost everyone I call has Verizon.
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
700 shared minutes, unlimited data/text messages with all Verizon to Verizon calls included. Most of our family/friends are on Verizon so we hardly use any minutes so we choose the minimum plan for that.
