I'm in the market for a new home laptop (it was murdered by a very vicious virus recently and I have yet to get it back to normal). I'm hoping to get our IT guy to look at it again once his schedule dies down some.
So, what type of computer do you have? Do you love it or hate it? I've had Dell computers the last few times I have purchased one. They're okay but I'm not a fan of all the Dell "stuff" on them.

my experience with dell has been meh. my sony desktop sucks, but my sony laptop is awesome. would def get one again (it's my second one).

We have all apple computers and I would highly recommend them, especially since we don't have virus issues.

I have a Macbook Pro and I LOVE it. I have had a toshiba and an HP and had a bad experience with both, which drove me to Apple.

We used to have Dell computers and we're not big fans. We now have all Apple and will never ever ever look back!

We are a mac household, too. I use a PC for work. I bought my macbook about 5 years ago and it's still going strong with some upgrades like memory and operating system. I don't think I could go back to PC for personal use.

I just traded my Sony Vaio, which I loved, for a Macbook Pro, which I LOVE. I had a Dell before the Sony. Agree with "it was meh."

We have a dell. My husband is a big computer guy- he's a programmer, so he makes the computer decisions for us.

My overall experience with Dell has been so-so, but five years ago I got a Dell XPS laptop at a great price and it's still going strong. My main computer is an iMac, though, and I love it.

I have a MacBook Pro from 2007 that's still working great. Last summer DH got me a Samsung Series 9. I love it... so lightweight!!

i have a dell for work. gotta give that back and need to get another computer. think i'm just getting a desktop since you can get more for the money and we already have a laptop. we have the sony vaio, which works just fine, except it's so darn LOUD! very annoying. fan's always running.

I have a Macbook Air (which is so tiny and adorable and I love it) and my husband has an Alienware computer. I think that's what it's called. I don't know anything about it except my husband loves it and the Sheldon on Big Bang Theory has the same one.

I have a MacBook Air and I LOVE it! It's easy to travel with and use - only downside is that it doesn't have a CD/DVD included.

We have 2 macbook pros and LOVE them. Bonus: You can get an education discount if you're a student or teacher. It's not a tremendous amount but it was still nice.

I have a lenovo and I like it a lot. The only problem is it takes a while to come out of sleep mode, but I think that's fairly normal, especially since Firefox takes up so much memory. The Lenovo was really the only laptop I could find (at Best Buy) that met all my requirements, haha.

We each have a Macbook Pro. I have the newest version, and DH has the previous generation. My next laptop is going to be a Macbook Air I think.
