DH and I filmed the little video that will be shown at DS's dedication. It was awesome to hear him speak about our commitment to raise DS to be a kind, giving, loving individual.

Going to a baby shower for a very good friend! It was so nice to get out of the house sans toddler. And I may have enjoyed a glass or two of sparkling wine

Seriously, nobody beats a new baby! Congrats Yin!!
We had a mostly lazy day. My highlight was the fact that daylight savings was a non-event. Normally C is up before the sun, and he actually slept til 7...(well six now, but whatever, I will take it!).

The highlight of my day was seeing LO enjoying her exersaucer! We put it together yesterday and had her try it for the first time yesterday but she was not into it at all. Today she smiled and laughed while playing in it so it was a big happy moment to have witnessed.

My 11-month old DD was snuggling me while drinking her bedtime bottle when she got the giggles. That gave ME the giggles. We couldn't contain ourselves! Her twin brother and Daddy were sitting next to us on the couch and looking at us like we had gone completely mad.

My husband gets paid monthly and we have started a new tradition where we all go to Powell's Books downtown (the biggest bookstore in the world literally) and we each get to pick out a book. It's so sweet. Today Tor got Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes, I got Christmas From The Heart of The Home by Susan Branch and my husband got Nabakov's Pale Fire! We also went to this awesome local shop called Scraps where I bought a bunch of felt and some butons to repurpose by making my own Christmas ornaments and hubby got some linoleum scraps to use for mosiac art. Good times!!

@Penny Lane: Yeah it was pretty epic, and on not much preparation!! He did it in about 4 hours. Took everything out of him though, and he had pins & needles in his um.....area all night! Thank god I'm already knocked up, who knows what kind of damage a bike seat can do in that amount of time!!
@twoofeverything: there is NOTHING better than contagious giggles!! It happens all the time when I read to my niece, it drives my sister nuts cause she gets so wound up she usually can't sleep afterwords! It all started because once, like 2 years ago, i burped while I was reading to her - since then every time I do we have to tell the burp story and one of us loses it, then we're hopeless for like 10 minutes!
