I have to work tonight, so I tried to pack in the quality moments with the girls. This morning Lala woke up saying, "I'm ready for our morning conversation, mama!" and M. just wanted to be held by me all day. We went out and played in the leaves and snow and then they blew kisses as I drove away. I won't see them until Wednesday, so it was a precious day.

We were out at the Jets game all day and when we got home, M was still up so we got to spend some more quality time with her before bed.

DH let me sleep in realllly late, then he cleaned up the apartment, did all the laundry, and made dinner while I snuggled on the couch with our sick pup and read a book.

Getting my first ever positive opk! Seeing that face made me at least feel like my body is working. It's our first month ttc, and I have so many emotions!

@chopsuey: my parents give us one for our anniversary every year. We got a new home one. Super cute!
My parent babysat R overnight last night so my highlight was when we saw her this afternoon and she was so happy to see us. Then tonight she stood by herself by 5 secs, multiple times, without holding onto anything.

I'm going to assume its Sunday where most of you are so my highlight for Sunday, even though its now Monday here, was seeing my Husband come home from his 90km bike ride, exhausted but so proud of himself, and resting with him for the afternoon watching stupid movies (dumb & dumber and billy madison). We are due in March and expect that these lazy days (well, lazy for me, not for him!!) might not be very frequent form then on so we really enjoyed it!

Spending the day with my guys The littlest one felt like he was trying to kick his way out. I also felt really good today, so I got a ton done around the house- projects that I have been wanting to do for ages!

@dc yoga bee: Yeah he is a bit of a crazy person, its an annual ride people do here to raise money for MS - the Sydney to Wollongong bike...its a beautiful route but sooooo hilly and just long! He was so spent at the end of it.

After an exceedingly depressing shopping trip where nothing fit, LO was in a silly mood and we played and giggled together until my bad mood completely disappeared. It made my weekend

honestly, the highlight of my day was 15 minutes ago when my husband offered to take all the night wakeups...for the second night in a row. What a good man!
Since our LO is still sort of in a horrible sleep regression, he is already in bed at 8:41 pm. I'm exhausted too but waiting to pump once more at 9:30 before going to bed at (hopefully) 10.

I feel like Vi turned into a little human this weekend. I know that sounds weird, but it's like she went from being a baby to being her own individual with a unique personality. She's showing us who she is, and she's so awesome.

I found half a twix bar in my purse and man, it was good! That was my highlight

@chopsuey: Oooh which one did you get? We were looking at them yesterday, so cute!
I've had so many highlights today, A has just been awesome! If I had to pick, probably when she saw me walking into the room and got really giddy and launched a combo of toddling, walking on her knees and crawling to get to me

Sleeping in for 100 hours, and getting to make some sewing crafts for hours after church. Basically just another lazy day!

@lovehoneybee: Not having to wear a bra is heaven!
The highlight of my day was realizing I had (a little) less work to do for tomorrow than I had thought.

I have a feeling, it will be dinner. My husband is making a Thai curry soup with coconut milk, mushrooms, lemongrass, and tofu. He's rolling up some spring rolls, too. It smells amazing in here.

Visting one of my girlfriends that I hadn't seen in a long while and her 9 month old and having him get all serious and pat my belly a few times during our visit. Super sweet!

@Arden: totally not weird! I thought the same thing today when LO was chattering and giggling away to me...it really felt today like her personality was shining through...despite being only 4 mos
