Does anyone get this magazine for their child? I was wondering if my 2 and 3 year old's would like it if I got it.
What do you think of it if you have it?

Yes! The 2 year old won't really get it yet but the 3 year old will. Mine has been getting it since she was 3 or 4. She loves the stories and the picture hunt.

We have been getting it since my son was 3 (he just turned 4) and he loves it!

We really like it!
My grandmother got a subscription for my son (starting with the Highlights baby magazine Hello) when he was born. He just turned five and is still excited to get a new one.
At two he didn't really understand the puzzles, but now he loves them. The stories are good, too. I especially like the ones about Tex and Indi, boy/girl twins who are in kindergarten. There are also fun craft activities and an easy recipe in each edition.
We recently discovered that there is a podcast called Highlights Hangout that he likes as well.

My kids get it and love it! My DS started to get it (grandparent gift) @18 months. He’s 5 now and still gets excited to read it. Maybe this year he’ll actually start reading it himself!

@Woolly Mammoth: My MIL gave my 2 year old the Hello ones and he’s totally obsessed. I love that they are laminated.

@Alba4: Yes! They stand up to toddler use really well. My 16-month-old rips up the High Five ones when she gets ahold of them.

I got this for DS’s 3rd birthday. He didn’t love it for the first half of the subscription but does now at closer to turning 4.

We signed my older son up when he was 3.5 or 4ish... My kids are almost 6 and almost 3 and they both still enjoy it.

My kids have had a subscription since they were one (a gift). They love them, but they’re particularly good for ages 3-5, I think.

Yes! My 5 year old has been getting them since she was 3 and she and my 2 year old love them. By the end of the month I have to talk them out of reading it for bed, AGAIN.
My 2 year old particularly likes the interactive pages, and now that DD1 is older, she’s really enjoying the stories

I love Hello for my 2.5 year old, but he's not ready for High Five yet (we get both). Hes obsessed with Hello. He reads them every night. I really like High Five, but it's probably geared to 3-5 year olds.

My FIL's girlfriend has gotten them for my boys since they were little and they didn't really care. Maybe we just didn't talk them up enough. Now she gets my older son the Highlights magazine and he's getting more into that. There was a year that she got them the National Geographic kids one and they LOVED that as they both love animals. Don't know why she switched away from that one knowing how much the loved it.

I never thought of this for my 3 year old. Sounds like a great idea for Christmas that’s NOT a toy.

We started getting it for DD around her 4th birthday and she really loves it. We’ll definitely continue the subscription for next year, then probably switch to Highlights. I also remember loving National Geographic World and Ranger Rick when I was a kid, so I’m adding the age-appropriate versions of those to her birthday/Christmas list this year.

We get this (3 and 5 year olds in my house) and the kids all love it. We got our new one last night in the mail and I had to hide it because they were all fighting about who got to take it to bed.
I also like the Nat Geo kids magazine as well. We don't have a subscription but the kids will look at it at the library. Will probably get that subscription for Christmas as well as renewing our High Five.
