I loved the laundry chute in my parent's bedroom that went from the third floor down to the first floor laundry area. I had so much fun throwing my toys, shoes and other stuff down the chute! My mom hated it because it was so big...I definitely could have jumped in and hurt myself!!!
DH loved the swimming pool and diving board in his backyard.

Before my parents had the basement finished and the floor was still concrete, I used it as my private roller skating rink. During the winter when figure skating was often on TV, I'd become inspired and go downstairs to make up my own skating routines!

My dad built us a playhouse that was so awesome! Running water, a working garage and a doorbell. It was the funnest thing ever. That's probably my fav part about that house. Also the people who lived there before left a ton of silverware and plates outside in the sandbox so we occasionally dug those up. That was fun finding treasure!

The playroom. My mom let us do whatever we wanted in there. Glitter on the carpet? Doesn't matter..... its the playroom!

I think we moved 8 times from when I was between the ages of 5 to 15, it was tough!

We lived in a bungalow with a walkout basement that was completely open. My sisters and I would rollerblade in the basement even though it was carpeted. We also had a small hill in our backyard that we would always bike down. To top it off we lived next to a community pool so in the summer we would swim and play tennis everyday.
I was so sad when my parents sold the house...I would buy it back in a second!

We lived out in the country, and had a HUGE yard with a big trampoline, we lived on that thing all summer. But a sprinkler under it, tanned on it, ect. It was so nice having the seclusion of it!

Two things - our basement and the office attached to Mom and Dad's room. The office had an open side that looked out over the family room. On Christmas morning, we got to come in and snuggle with Mom and Dad and then look over to see the tree and all the presents under it. our basement rocked. It was finished and we had a ping pong table, pool table when we got older. There was a TV down there, our games were down there, etc. I MISS having a basement! Our house was perfect.

My parents' house has a huge yeard, complete with garden, bunny cages, play house, sand box, and swing set! It's like a kid's paradise!

Our house had 4 levels so there was a lot of privacy. My siblings and I could all have friends over and not be tripping over each other. It also backed up to a golf course. At night we would sneak on and play a couple of holes and run through all their sprinklers!

Our neighborhood was great. Our back yards all connected and we were constantly outside playing with the neighborhood kids. Our house itself was pretty small but at least I had my own room.
