Mine was a Old Fashion assorted sub from our local sub shop!
Turkey, Ham, Salami on a house baked multigrain roll with lettuce, tomatoes, tons of banana peppers and lots of hot sauce and a big ol glass of coca cola!

Oh my gosh, I can't decide!! I have been so depressed by the amount of weight I've gained it will probably be a salad. Just kidding. I really just want some BOOZE! Especially Shiner Bock Ruby Red since it is seasonal, but that probably won't go over too well!

I thought I'd have a big juicy hamburger. But after the c-section my first meal was chicken broth and green jello. I did get my big burger on my first day home, though, and I devoured it!

I had bbq chipotle chicken wings and sweet potato fries. I had thought that I would want sushi, but after the work out I wanted carbs and fat!

Whatever I could get my hands on (it was 3am by the time I ate) so I devoured some cheese, granola bars and fruit we had packed. Next day was hospital breakfast.

I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything but ice chips for like 6 hours after I delivered 
I had thrown up some much during L&D that I was scared to eat real food, so when I was cleared to eat my first "meal" was applesauce and apple juice. Then around midnight when I was feeling better DH got me an amazing turkey sandwich from the hospital cafeteria. It was seriously awesome, especially given it was hospital food...maybe the best turkey sandwich I've ever had...

Hmmm... I had a horrid chicken sandwich because I asked for a chick fil a sandwich but the cafeteria was out of them. I wasn't very hungry right after labor. Thought I would be but I just wanted water. Once I got hungry, I devoured two grilled cheese sandwiches, fries, chips, a granola bar and a diet coke. 
That night I got hungry when the cafe was closed so I had a turkey sandwich that the nurses keep on hand for hungry new moms. It was amazing. Haha. Probably really dry and gross but I didn't care. Feed Me, Seymour!

I had a burrito bowl from chipotle, but I was so exhausted and in shock about how fast it all happened so I barely ate any of it. Made a good lunch the next day though!

First delivery: boxed meal from the hospital cafeteria, chicken salad sandwich. I hadn't eaten in 36 hours so it tasted amazing.
Second delivery: A big cheeseburger and fries from the hospital cafeteria, and a big slice of yellow and chocolate marble cake with thick white icing. It was awesome.
Both deliveries: I got a big sushi meal delivered by a friend the next day. Both were AWESOMEEEEEE.

There is a Jimmy John's across the street and I am already planning on a plain cold turkey sandwich. Over having to toast them all the time. I am only 10 weeks so I have to wait awhile. I already told DH he will be getting one for me!

I had a bagel with cream cheese since they weren't serving lunch yet. Then I had chicken tenders and fries - totally regretted it because it made my stomach upset since I hadn't had fried food like that in forever.

Mine was a bagel with cream cheese from Tim Horton's (my Mom went and got drive-through for she, DH and I, since LO was born through dinner time, so we all missed that meal). I was barely hungry (fast labour) but I ate half of it because I figured I should eat something.

Elley told me that she read that labor burns 20,000 calories. So I don't know what I'm going to demand after that, but it's going to be GOOOOOD!!!

Our hospital acually serves a meal for both parents that includes a salad, steak, potaotes, and cheesecake. I have heard it is really good so I am looking forward to it.
Once I get home anything someone else will be cooking would be amazing. I am really looking forward to all the fall/winter brews, we are getting to brew one now so it will be exciting to be able to try it. Otherwise there really isn't much I am missing food/drink wise.

our hospital gives us a "celebration dinner" after we deliver.... it's bacon-wrapped filet mignon with a side of baked potato! it's good for hospital food.
but when i get home, the first meal i request will most definitely be SUSHI!!!!!

The first thing I ate after delivery (on about 24 hours with no food or drink) was a turkey wrap, veggie soup, a roast beef sandwich and pudding. I was so freaking hungry. The next day my parents made homemade spaghetti and meatballs, bread, salad and we had champagne. ...then my gluttonous self ordered chicken fingers and more pudding. All the hospital food was free while I was there, and it was pretty tasty so I pigged out.

I'm not sure what I'll want. Steak (cooked medium) and potatoes and cheesecake from Tahoe Joes would be delish.

I'm assuming I won't be picky and will eat whatever someone puts in front of me, quickly. On our last night in the hospital we get a celebratory dinner of steak and lobster...or whatever we eat when we want to celebrate (I'll probably ask for something different as eating steak/lobster in a hospital kind of skeeves me out).

Hospital kitchen closed at 7, and I delivered at 7:20, so I didn't get a real meal. But the nurses brought me a little platter with a bunch of fruit, yogurt, and a blueberry muffin. It tasted so good and I inhaled it!

i ate a couple pieces of choclate and made my dad sneak me in some soda ( i wasnt suppose to be eating yet after my csection) then later, dh snuck me in a italian hoagie, it was soooo good.

our hospital offers something called Stork's Club Dinner, where they bring essentially whatever you want to your room for private dining to celebrate baby. you even get wine! I'm not sure how much it is...if it's a ton of money we'll skip it. and this also might not be 'first meal' depending what time she makes her debut, so I'm not really sure!
probably whatever is closest or comfort food.

My first official meal was what I ordered immediately after delivery. I thought I was super hungry, so I ordered: grilled chicken sandwich, cheese personal pizza, onion rings, salad, diet coke and a chocolate milkshake. DH ate about half of it But the hospital was awesome, anytime I was hungry, I picked up the phone and placed my order.
And I had wine the day after delivery!

my friends were kind enough to bring me a quesadilla and chips & queso from Border Cafe - our favorite - down the street. sadly they couldn't get them to allow a margarita 'to go'

I was so hungry but wasnt allowed to eat anything until the next morning. It was breakfast and I dont even remember what I had specifically I think eggs and oatmeal..

maybe sushi and wine...or a margarita. Pretty much the only things i'm not eating while i'm pregnant. I'm still eating sandwiches right now, cuz my doctor says it's totally ok as long as it's quality meat. So JJ's and I are good friends right now.
