# of follicles: 4 on my good side, 1 on my cyst side
size of follicles: 19, 16.5 and 15 (with two others at 12 & 11) on cd 12 (we IUId on cd 14)
Lining: They didn't tell me, but always said it was good
DH's #s: Gosh I'd have to look back through the infertility thread but he had several million which they said was great.
Successful? Yep! On the first try.
# of babies: One, a boy.

I'm going to guess because I don't remember exactly. I think they were usually around 18mm and I usually had 3 with the second two being a bit smaller. I always had lining issues, I always hoped to be at 6mm and was 1 out of the 3 times. Dh's only issue was morphology and it was only 4% normal. Ours were not successful.

I had 2 follies that measured around 20-23 on the right side and another 2 on the left side. one was around 18 and the other 13. I never asked about the lining but my RE said everything looked good. I also had a 2 day iui transfer and DH's numbers were fine after "washing" but the IUI wasn't successful.

@Mrs.VW: I had pretty harsh cramping a lot of the TWW and then my biggest symptom that was out of the ordinary for me was really sore nipples. I also charted my temps so I was able to show what looked to be a really positive, continual, stairstep increase in BBT. Wishing you the best of luck!

@Mrs.VW: I was not on prometrium or any other sort of progesterone afterward, so I can't say much about how it would affect your temps. Sorry!

1st IUI
One good follicle at 21mm, lining was a little thin, around 5 on the day of ultrasound (CD11)
DH's numbers: 50 mil post-wash.
Successful? Sort of. I did get pregnant but it was ectopic. Tube was saved and is clear.

2nd IUI:
One good follicle at 20mm, lining was a little better, around 6.
DH's numbers: in the 30s
Successful? Nope. I knew it wouldn't work the moment the IUI was done. I don't know why but I just knew.

Now, I'm in the TWW for the 3rd IUI:
Two good follicles at 17 and 21. Lining was much better at 8. And while my tube is fine the two follicles are in my left where the pregnancy was so I'm a little apprehensive
DH's numbers: 22 mil.
Successful? Not sure - am a bit more optimistic than last month but not very hopeful I wish more than anything that the first IUI was in the right place and stuck. If the 3rd try doesn't work we'll be taking a break.

For all 3 IUIs, I was on Clomid days 3-7 and then did Ovidrel 36 hrs before the IUI. For the 2nd and 3rd, I took/am to take half a shot of Ovidrel on 7 DPO to help thicken the lining.

@Mrs.VW: Isn't weird that you can just get "that" feeling? It was like picking out my wedding dress. The moment I tried it on, I knew it was the one.... ah intuition I like your attitude this cycle and need to adopt it for myself. Good luck this Sunday!
If AF doesn't show up the 15th or 16th (Father's Day - go figure) then I go in for a blood test that Monday. I may just test on Sunday though....

Here are my stats. I don't have any of the lining details - but I know it was thin on my second IUI and I was on estrogen suppositories during that cycle to help. Good luck to everyone this cycle!!!

IUI #1: Clomid 50mg/Ovidrel
2 follicles (20 & 27.5), LH: 36, DH#: 32 million
Result: negative

IUI #2: Clomid 50 mg/Ovidrel
1 follicle (23.8), LH: 8, DH#: 32 million
Result: negative

IUI #3: Bravelle injections/Ovidrel
2 follicles (18.4, 13.6), LH: 3.6, DH#: 28 million
Result: POSITIVE!!! 1 baby

I remember at the end of my successful IUI I wanted to dissect all of the details. To understand why it worked this time, what these numbers mean. But ultimately, it's all still magic, you know? I think we got the timing down better and that Clomid was making my follicles too large too soon. Going with the injectibles helped my doctor slowly monitor the growth and time everything just right.

Also - for what it's worth - I had absolutely NO symptoms when I got my positive. None. Well, the clear skin was a little suspect, but how could I possibly think no pimples meant I was pregnant? It's a nutso process - and I was going nuts on my 3rd cycle - but I do hope everyone is able to learn more about their bodies and what works for them. I do feel like I got that. But I SO hope that for baby #2 we can do this on our own. Time will tell.

2nd IUI: two 18mm today and E2 was 414 today. I'm waiting for the nurse to call with instructions, which is why I'm bumping this old thread

@MrsCB: Thanks! Haha I know, right? The nurse just called and said to trigger tonight and IUI Wednesday!

@MrsCB: actually we probably need to (ack, TMI) because I was away all weekend, so it's been too long. He doesn't have count issues, so hopefully the #s will still be good!

@FaithFertility: thanks! I had mine this morning, so I'm right behind you. Here's hoping this is the last IUI for both of us
