I have tomorrow off and DS1 doesn't have school on Fridays, so won't feel the rush of getting stuff ready for tomorrow. Thursday nights always seem more relaxing for that reason. After the kids go to bed, we don't do any chores, just clean up the kitchen from dinner and relax.

Thursdays are usually my hectic night because I work Fridays. But this week is just field trips, so I'm just catching up on grades instead of frantically preparing lessons.

We put E to bed, then DH made a curry while I pumped breastmilk. Then we ate the curry, cleaned the kitchen, set up my bed-on-the-sofa and I'm just waiting now for the baby to wake to feed. Then I need to pump again. Sigh.

Lying on the couch or in bed watching tv. Can't wait. I had/have some sort of stomach bug I think. Yesterday was horrible today I just need to rest. Hard w a toddler and DH not getting home until 830 tonight!

Glass of wine! Just sat down. LO mercifully went down easy & early after 3 nights of fighting bedtime HARD! Even though I work Fridays, I feel you on Thursdays feeling more relaxed. I know it's the last night I have to go through all the nightly grind stuff before the weekend! And next week I am on vaca

@winniebee: I've only seen the first 8 episodes so far, but it's incredibly well-done and true to the books! Plus the actor who plays Jamie is yummmmm....definitely recommend!

DH is working from his laptop and I'm keeping quiet in the other room. He spent the whole day playing nurse to me since I'm sick! He's not feeling well either so we traded off helping eachother. We are trying to make sure we are well enough for our camping trip this weekend, so we did a bunch of packing and getting ready today in between resting periods

B/c DD had 2 naps yesterday (fell asleep on daycare buggy ride early morning), she didn't go to bed till almost 9:30... So I only had time to clean and then it was time for bed!
But usually I clean/do chores, then sit down and relax/watch TV/hang out w/ DH.
