We are throwing DS his first birthday party next weekend. Last week I was with my cousin and my mom and were talking about his party. My cousin has 3 kids and her two boys love my son! I kind of felt like I should invite them since we were all talking about it together but we have only invited immediate family and a few close friends. My DH is okay with inviting them but would prefer not because he doesn't want them to feel obligated to come or invite us to their kids parties but I feel like her kids got excited about it with us talking about it and would enjoy being a part of it. They also see DS more than other extended family and visit when my mom watches him during the week.

ETA: my main thing with this is that I don't want to disrespect DH's opinion, but I also would feel rude not inviting them! I know it's best to invite them, I just need some extra support so I don't feel like I am being disrespectful of DH in the process!
