I know of nothing... I was always the good girl that never got drunk. The one time I came close to borderline drunk, I slept it off lol

For me, it was sleeping and then McDonald's food. Yummy greasy food, then more sleep. : )

omg, i need an answer to that today too! DH kept telling me to drink more water & take some tylenol, but i don't wanna drink anything. ever. again.

@Jennimac: @zippylef: My friend tells me that his headache prevents him from sleeping. Tylenol helps but he still can't fall asleep.

Family secret is chocolate milk, DH swears by Gatorade, but chic milk always helps me.

@mrbee: try chicken broth. will help rehydrate you. Gatorade might help too- but when I'm hungover that sweet taste doesn't work for me.

@mrbee: Take two Tylenol with a can of Coke and then chug some water and keep hydrated. Follow this up by a greasy bacon, egg, and cheese and a nap!

For me, nothing beats an egg and cheese bagel sandwich and a big glass of orange juice! With a side of Excedrin.

@mrbee: i'm considering taking some benadryl with a big bottle of water... to help with napping

@mrbee: Caffeine and tylenol together works really well for a headache! That'a basically what migraine medicine is, pain relief with caffeine.

Two McDonalds hashbrowns and a small diet coke always do it for me.

my go to hangover cure:
Gatorade
McDonalds chicken mcnuggets with coke
chicken broth or soup
best cure though is 1 big glass of water before bed!

@mrbee: I would try that new nyquil sleeping stuff then. Once my belly was full, I could fall sleep in seconds.

my cure is typically greasy food and sugary drinks - juice, "revive" vitamin water, soda. coffee doesn't cut it.
GOLD / papaya / 10166 posts
@mrbee: Tylenol does nothing for the headaches. "Your friend" needs to go with Advil/Motrin or Excedrine, if you can find it.
To prevent hangovers, I always drink lots of water about an hour before I go to bed, eat a big meal and take some vitamins.

I took the advice to get some coffee and went to a nearby Starbucks. Felt carsick on the way home and got out of the car. Then I threw up my breakfast in the bushes.
Now I feel much better. So in a way, the coffee cure worked!

@Rubies: I drank both red wine and soju in the same night. Rookie move!

Lots of water and greasy Mexican food.
My mother in law insists that if you get drunk and eat a banana before you go to bed that you won't have a hangover...I don't know. It's never seemed to work for me.

@mr.bee: No no! Never mix alcohol, especially anything mixed with sojul! Try chicken bouillon cubes. Dissolve half a cube in 2 cups of water (to make chicken broth) and drink it! The sodium really helps with hangovers. And drink tons of gatorade!!

A greasy cheeseburger always makes me feel better. And a nap.
