I used to spend a lot on my hair. Cuts, color and pricey products. Now I go to an inexpensive salon and use inexpensive products.

Clothes for myself! Now it's all about buying clothes for L. Ugh, wish little girl clothes weren't so cute!

Food. I used to spend so much money dining out.

I haven't had my hair done since I was pregnant. I used to go every 6 weeks and drop $180. I used to get pedi's every week. I got a massage once a month. Shit I pampered myself! Now baby is 5 months, I've gotten 3 pedi's and 1 massage because someone got me a gift certificate for one.

We almost never eat out now, I only get my hair done 1/2 as often, and I have only bought necessary clothes for myself (because I lost 4 sizes post-partum, so nothing really fit). Once I am back at work, I will probably treat myself more though (we get some pay on mat leave in Canada, but the max is about 1/4 of my usual net income)

Manicures/pedicures, regular haircuts...
Now I just do those things when I have an event or photos! So sad... -
Manis/pedis and clothes! Now, I just spend all of my money on stuff for the kids.

Eating at nicer restaurants... DH and I used to love to try new places, especially those that featured famous chefs or chefs that came on Top Chef... those that won a James Beard award, or every once in awhile even go to a Michelin starred restaurant. Not anymore! So hard to even consider splurging on a nice meal these days.

Clothes, makeup, nice dinners, movies and going out to bars with friends!

Designer purses... I don't use them anymore since I carry around LO's diaper bag all the time.

Nothing because I was on lock-down way before LO came along. We emptied our savings for our down payment and as first time homeowners, and newly married, were preparing for all kinds of calamity that first year! It was just a ton of big expenses all at once and so we were very, very careful in our spending. I actually buy more things now compared to before (all for baby) since things have stabilized.

Pretty much everything but more due to lack of time to myself than financial necessity. All my shopping is in the supermarket these days, as well as some internet purchases for LO, so while our grocery bill has gone up all other spending is way down.
