Wow you guys I feel seriously under-MacGuyver'ed!! I've one bag for both babies at the moment so it has changing mat, 6 diapers, cotton wool, wipes, 3 vests, 3 babygros, 3 bibs, 2 muslin squares, and usually two bottles. Must fling in some sanitizer though.

Tough & Tender disinfecting wipes - for tables, toilet seats, public chairs, etc
disposable wipes, 5 disposable diapers
3 cloth diapers, 5 cloth wipes
Wipes solution
Waterproof changing pad
Wet bag, 2 - one for diapers, one for dirty clothes

2 changes of clothes - usually an outfit and a sleeper

Camilia- a teething/soothing remedy

2 diapers, wet bag, drying cloth, baby wipes, boogie wipes, nutrigrain bar or goldfish, extra change of clothes, bib, disposable placemat, pacifier, changing pad.

Right now, I don't even carry a diaper bag anymore. I just carry a few diapers, a small packet of wipes in a changing pod and a sippy of water. I do have to add in some sunscreen though. Usually if we're going somewhere specific, like swimming lessons, I'll add in a swim diaper and a towel.

I agree about the weight, my bag was not only breaking my back, I couldn't find anything with all that stuff in there, so I pared down, a lot!
