There's two different times of day I really enjoy with Libby-Jane. When she first wakes up in the morning she is so smiley and happy and just a joy to be around. Then about 6pm when I first get home from work and I'm feeding her dinner she's so happy to see me and just laughs and giggles the whole time. I hope she never outgrows this happy stage.

I'm with you Mr.bee. Picking up Mavi from the daycare is one of my favorite moment... well until he starts crying because he doesn't want to leave.
I do love on Saturday mornings he wakes up and starts singing (well baby gibberish) and calling out "mama, mama, mama" Makes my heart melt.

With my son it is the hug I get when he comes home with my husband, for my daughter it is bedtime when I snuggle with her and she tells me about the best part of her day. Her responses are hilarious.

The mornings, for two reasons:
1.) This is when both Claire and I are in the best mood.
2.) Ever since I got pregnant again, my husband has taken over morning duty so that I can get extra rest. Waking up to see him bond with, and expressing his love for our little girl is just so touching.

First thing in the morning when I go to wake her up... and right when I get home from work - her entire face lights up and she starts crawling towards me super fast until she's in my lap!!!

I'm changing my answer!
My favorite time of the day is when Charlie takes his evening bath. He has sooo much fun, and we laugh a lot together. I think that's really the key to our bonding... I've noticed that when I am laughing at all of his jokes, he likes me more. Typical male.

I'm so jealous of all of you! My daughter (2 months old) doesn't even have a real personality yet so we haven't actually gotten to bond. But my favourite thing that she does is after nursing her in the mornings, we play a little bit but she gets all sleepy again and before I realize it, she's fading away into a slumber on my shoulder. I love that feelings of her warm, tired, body resting on me. SIGH!

I just realized that I made it sound like my daughter and I DON'T bond. I just wanted to clarify that my daughter is just too little to...You know...Get me. Or I her. You know what I mean, right?

@Rubies: I tell people all the time that I like my daughter much more now at 5 months old than I did when she was real young. Her personality starting coming out at about 3 months and now at 5 months she has the best reactions to things. Your time is coming soon and before you know it you'll be wishing for the times when she'd cuddle up on your shoulder and fall asleep.

@Laneybugsmommy: Everyone tells me that! I guess I have to enjoy this newborn stage...But I cant wait for the next part, too!

In the mornings when I'm able to wake up with him. He's half asleep but has the sweetest smile on his face when he sees me. Also when I get home from work. He screams "umma, umma" and runs over to me.

I like bath time and feeding time and the time right before
His afternoon nap.
He loves splashing in the water, he's a wonderful eater so he gobbles up the food I give him and he's cheery but quickly tires out during our play right before his afternoon nap and he likes to cuddle up to me, lean on me. He's so cute
