My perfect height is just a few inches below the height of the ceiling! Whatever that may be. In reality though, getting a tall tree into the house is a pain in the bee...
Whadaya think: what's the perfect height for a Christmas tree?

@mrbee: agreed! I love tall trees just a couple inches below the ceiling. But we have an apartment and can't have a tree... I don't think. you know, I didn't ask. But it was in our lease at our first apartment so I assumed??

We just upgraded to a 9ft tree this year! We had a 6 or 7ft tree before and it looked to dinky! We have vaulted ceilings though the highest point is 20 + plus ft tall. We haven't decorated the new tree yet...Chairs/stools will be needed since I am the one who decorates it (my hubby only does lights!) and I'm only 5'1....
I guess I cannot answer your questions because I'm unsure as of now!

I want a living room with vaulted ceilings and one of those gigantic beautiful 20 foot ones. I always go to Lowes and stare at them every winter...

I love tall trees. We have a 9 ft one. The star on top stops a couple inches below the ceiling!
