It seems like it is annually at my center. It's a center that only hires teachers with higher education and typically once they get a job in the school system, they are out of there for better pay.

Its been awful lately!!!
Like yours the lead teacher must have a Bachelors degree which means they are there until they get a real teaching job

Not as bad for the lead teachers but pretty significant for the assistants. Likely because they don't pay much. It's a catch 22 because if they paid more then our tuition would be more.

Late care turnover seems pretty bad. I almost commented to the director recently asking if they just hire anyone off the street. Regular care is pretty consistent though because they receive full benefits.

It seems like annually here too. We lost 1 teacher this summer and one last summer. My son's class has a new assistant who started in September, but we know he is working there for just 9 months.

Pretty bad. LO started less than 2 years ago and I can count 8 teachers off the top of my head that she's had that are no longer there (out of maybe 12 total in three rooms). There is literally only 1 teacher there in total from when we started, across all rooms. There are so many different reasons though (furthering education, switching fields, or moving for a spouse's job are the reasonable ones, but I know there have also been a number who have either quit or been fired due to issues with the owner or admin).

He's had the same teachers since we started. We got one new teacher this last week because one girl went on maternity leave.
It's pretty nice actually! All the teachers know L, and he knows all of them. They seem to rotate as well, so each teacher gets to know each room and all the kids become comfortable with whatever teacher they have.

It's been bad lately! When we started, all the teachers in his room had been there for 7-8 years. About a month after he started, they started leaving one by one. He had a strong relationship with some of the teachers that left and it makes me sad that he doesn't see them anymore!

Not bad, they have a lot of teachers who have been there a long time. But we seem to have gotten caught in all the turnover lately! She had two teachers leave back to back about a year ago, and just had another one leave last week. But there has been stability everywhere else and the directors are really good about stepping in and helping to keep things constant when there are staffing changes.

our center is tied to a graduate school program in infant/child development, so there is some annual turnover because some of the teachers are students or interns, and their job is tied to their degree progress. but it's been pretty stable otherwise!

Low turnover was pretty close to the top of my list when we picked our daycare, so it's pretty good. The two women who interact with LO the most have 14 years and 4 years respectively.

There are six teachers at our preschool. Two of them have been there for 24&27 years. The others are all in the ten year range. There are a couple ECE trainees that are younger but the official teachers have all been around forever. It was one of my reasons for choosing this school.

all of teachers at our preschool have been there for 3 years+ including the assistants. Lead teachers have been there for 5+. I'm sure we'll see some annual turnover, but nothing yet so far this year (our first).

Pretty low. Only 2 of DD's teachers have left in the 20 months she's been there, both after she had moved up to the next room. I think one went back to school, and the other moved several states away to be closer to family. There seems to be a bit more turnover amongst the floaters than the full-time staff, but even those have been remarkably consistent. The center is a nonprofit and prides itself that the teacher pay is among the highest of all the centers around here and they offer pretty decent benefits as well, so I think that has a lot to do with it.
